Update May 22,2012 - Volunteers Needed
- We have a volunteer work crew working on the new Upper Tunnel technical Trail.
- We need volunteers - all welcome
- We meet every Wednesday throughout May and June at 6 pm at the Star Wars Trail Head
- We supply tools
- Bring Work boots, gloves, rain gear, water, snacks and bug spray (and a friend)
- The new trail (unnamed) is a technical cross country trail with features such as log rides, ramps onto rocks. It is being designed by Doug Topp.
- The current work is grubbing out the new line - we take the trail past allot of interesting features but won't actually construct them until the line is finished, and rideable, then we will return and construc features
- The target opening date is late fall 2012.
